THOUGHT FOR THE SOUL - PART 2

God’s promise in Isaiah 43:2 is that His protection is His presence, not the absence of trials. “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned.”

The “waters” and “fires” represent life’s devastating circumstances, such as grief, debt, loss, fear, and seasons of uncertainty. These moments can feel consuming, as though we are drowning or suffocating in flames. His promise is not that we will avoid hardship, but that hardship will not destroy us.

God sets boundaries around what trials can do, and He walks with us through every one of them. He will be with us in our own trials.

The waters will not sweep you away, and the flames will not consume you. The One who calls you by name has already redeemed you, and His presence is your unshaken protection. God will use your wilderness to lead you to the fulfillment of your calling. He will use the process to teach, prepare, and use you as He desires.

Remember, faith does not offer immunity from life's difficulties, but it does provide a deep assurance of God's presence and support in the midst of them.John 16:33 — “These things have I spoken unto you, that in Me ye may have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

"This I know: in the process of life, you will not be abandoned. Processes help us know that the only one who will faithfully accompany us to the end is GOD."
